Who’s there?
I call out,
As I must know,
If I’m alone,
Or I have some company.
Who’s there?
Echoes reply,
Unable to lie,
Perhaps tonight,
I just might be on my own.
Who’s there?
My skin tingles,
My brows wrinkle,
Upon receiving,
This question from beyond.
Who’s there?
What is your name?
Where are you from?
Are you alive?
Or are you not among the living?
I’m here,
The whispers,
Embrace my ears,
I succumb to fear,
Forgetting the package I was meant to deliver.
