I wonder how wheels turn,
And touching fire burns,
Why crocodiles never frown,
Why pigs always look down.
Why is the sky often blue,
Why not green, pink or maroon?
Why do bells ring?
And how do birds sing?
Why are ants so small,
And giraffes so tall?
Why does the sun go away?
And come back the next day?
Why do dogs bite?
Why do we have sight?
Why are bats blind?
And diamonds come from mines?
As I ponder on these things,
I realise that Earth is simply amazing!
